WHAT ARE EQUINE ASSISTED SERVICES?

Equine Expressions proudly offers Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). We are certified by the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) to provide services to individuals, couples, families, groups, and corporations/organizations. Our ground based, solution focused approach allows many people to experience learning, change, and growth in real-time, since there is no riding experience necessary. Our team approach includes a mental health therapist, equine specialist, and horse(s) that work together in every session and are pivotal to the change and learning processes. We adhere to Connecticut and EAGALA Codes of Ethics to ensure best practices and highest level of care.
